About Soam
A practice shaped by place, patience, and the hand.
Soam is a Greenlandic maker whose work moves between clothing, craft, and personal storytelling.
Her practice begins with close attention: to the character of a material, the knowledge carried through tradition, and the small decisions that make an object feel personal. Each piece is developed slowly, allowing form and detail to emerge through the process.
Working across garments and material studies, Soam brings inherited references into a contemporary visual language. The result is work that feels rooted yet open—made to be worn, remembered, and encountered anew.
